Moscow Sights, Sounds and Hotels
Moscow’s Red Square has been witness to much of Russia’s profound history and is accordingly a most impressive place. Without doubt it is chief among Moscow’s many attractions. The exuberant design and ebullient colouring of St James Cathedral, seeming just a bit over the top, in comparison with the stark severity of Lenin’s Mausoleum, and Moscow’s famous GUM department store are all located here in this place of contrasts. Every self-respecting tourist should make Moscow’s Red Square top priority and mandatory first stop.
Moscow's Red Square is a mandatory first stop when you visit Moscow city. You must have booked accommodation in one of the fine Moscow hotels before you can enter this enigmatic country.
